The deadline to decide your housing status for the 2019-2020 AY is March 31, 2019. If you plan on living here for the 2019-2020 AY, please submit your lease renewal online at

If you are planning to vacate the apartment, please submit your Notice to Vacate request online at

Please submit these request buy March 31, 2019. If we don’t receive a response from you, your apartment/bedroom could be assigned to someone else and you would have to vacate the apartment by May 31, 2019.

Quick Herbed Chicken

Try this recipe out tonight!

You will need:

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast

1 (10.75 ounce) can Campbell’s condensed cream of chicken soup

1/3 Cup white wine (Columbia Crest Chardonnay or any other white wine)

1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram


  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breast in hot oil until completely browned, 3 to 5 minutes per side. Ass soup, white wine, tarragon, parsley, garlic powder, and marjoram to the skillet; bring to a boil, place a cover on the skillet, reduce heat to low, and cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the center, 10 to 15 minutes.

CUAB Heels on Wheels (Carolina Union Activities Board)

Hello All,

I wanted to make you aware of an event that takes place tonight, Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 8pm-12am. This is a description of the event:

We have eight 30 minute slots where you can come and skate (skates are provided)! Please note you can only sign up for ONE slot! Be sure to have each of your friends sign up as your name doesn’t represent your group. Be prepared to show onecards at the door. We give priority to UNC students but, if spots available, we can accommodate non-UNC students.

Note: You do not have to register to attend this event, but registered students will receive priority.

Note: You will be required to sign a waiver before you skate so, if you are under 18, please come visit the office to receive a waiver for a guardian to sign!

Keeping Hallways Clear

February 14, 2019

Hello All,

We sent an email out regarding fire safety on January 24, 2019. I wanted to update you regarding items being left in the hallways. This is a safety hazard. We will begin inspecting the hallways in each building for items; such as strollers, toys, trash, car seats, etc. This violation will result in a $25 fine and will be added to your housing portal.

Fire Safety

Hello All,

I wanted to reach out to everyone and remind you about fire safety.

Cooking fires are the leading cause of home fires and injuries. I will share with you a few cooking basics to prevent fires and nuisance alarms.

  • Never leave food unattended while cooking
  • Maintain a clean and tidy cooking area that is free of items that catch fire easily, such as, cloth, paper, and plastic.
  • Roll up your shirtsleeves or wear short, tight sleeves while cooking
  • Always keep a potholder, oven mitt, and a lid nearby

Please make sure your stove and drip pans stay are clean from grease. This can cause smoke to rise to smoke detectors and also prevent nuisance alarms. Also, remember that storing personal items in the hallways is a safety hazard. Storing personal items in the hallways of your buildings will result in a minimum charge of $25 and removal of the items.

Please remember that items, such as bicycles and strollers cannot be stored in stairwells.
